Mildred (nee Colbert) Gresham, 83, of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015 surrounded by family. She is survived by her sons, Robert P. (Melissa) Gresham II and Jeffrey L. (Janine) Gresham; sister Margaret (Bill) Moore; five grandchildren Justin (Kelsey), Ethan, Nathan, Thomas and Alexandra Gresham; two great-grandchildren Sophia and Adaline Gresham; beloved nieces and nephews Don (Robin) Jacko, Bill (Debbie) Jacko, Paula Swanson, Charlene Gresham, Peggy Hrynko, Pam (Bob) Helwick, Ron Colbert, Rick (Vicky) Colbert, Don (Jana) Colbert, Wanda (George) Brigman, David (Debbie) Colbert, Todd Colbert, George Colbert, Jr., Patty Colbert, Phillip (Kathy) Moore, Richard Moore and William (Myra) Moore and numerous loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Robert Gresham; brothers, James, Robert, Frank and George Colbert; and sister, Mary Reed.Visitation will be on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home, with graveside service and interment immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.In previous years, Mildred was active in the United Methodist Women and supported several ministries and charities. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, baking, gardening, canning and most of all spending time with family and friends.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Calumet Area or The Salvation Army.
