Phillip Maddox, 89, of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys Maddox; grandchildren, Trina and Justin; great grandchildren, Logan, Mikaela, Liana and Iain; brothers-in-law, James and William Rodda. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Maddox.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. visitation will be Friday from 10:00 am -1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Phillip served as a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Airforce. He retired from the Indiana Local 597 Pipefitters after 28 years of service. He taught welding in Pipefitters school after work.
