Richard Henry

Richard Lee Henry of Highland, Indiana -Richard Lee Henry, adoring husband, devoted father and grandfather was taken away from us at the age of 76 by cancer.He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Kardolas) and his children; Paul Henry and Laura (Scott) Bailey, his grandchildren Zachary, Caitlin, Claire and Jack, his brother Edward (Nell) Henry. He was proceeded in death by his parents Helen (Burgess) and Edward Henry, sister Pat Rosignal, and daughter-in-law Mary (Stancy) Henry.Richard was a train man for 43 years. He worked for the Chicago and Western Indiana RR as well as Metra Railways. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He truly loved to take his wife to Las Vegas or just for an afternoon at the Boats. In his later years he enjoyed volunteering for the Community Outreach program at Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dyer, Indiana. He loved his family and his friends and will be missed by all.
