Rodolf H. Baum, 74, of Lansing, IL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Beloved of 45 years of Hildegard (nee Knoll). Loving father of Andreas Baum, Cornelia Baum, Sonia (David) Coxon and Markus Baum. Proud Opa of Abigail and Thomas Coxon. Cherished brother of Johann (Gertrude) Baum, Julius Baum, Ida (Hugo) Buetow, Renate (Herbert) Schmidt and Gisela (Marko) Radosavljevic. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Helmut Baum and sister, Helene (William) Wilcox. Visitation will be on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am at the church. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 330 Highland Dr. Chicago Heights, IL. Interment will be at the St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Chicago Heights, IL. Rudolf was a member for 45 years of the U.A.W. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Paul Lutheran Ev. church in his memory would be appreciated.
