Valentine J. Golec, 68 of Lynwood, IL formerly a longtime resident of Hegewisch, IL. passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2010. Beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Murrell) for 46 years; loving father of James Golec, Mark (Denise) Golec and Brian (Candace) Golec; cherished grandfather of Corbin, Amanda, Jeremy, Haley and Brian; fond brother of Patricia (Harold) Sirbek; preceded in death by is parents, Valentine and Mary Golec. Visitation will be on Friday, June 18, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN Funeral service will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Valentine was a former member of St. Florian Church.
