Adele F. Torok

Adele F. Torok, 93, of St. John, IN, formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Jim) Hellrung, Fran (Bob) Justak and Kim (John) Stahura; grandchildren, Debbie Attar, Jeff (Brenda) Justak, Jennifer (Greg) Kraft, Chris (Suzanne) Hellrung, Todd (Michele) Hellrung, Katie (Patrick) Small and Joe Stahura; great grandchildren, Jacob, Kory and Alex Attar, Megan, Peyton and Jay Justak, Lauren, Kathryn and Ryan Kraft, Madeline, Jimmy, Sarah, Kayla, Josh and Samantha Hellrung; sister-in-law, Gloria Torok; preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine Pokropinski; husband, Albert F. Torok; sister, Irene (Michael) Sargovetz. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Adele was a retired Manager for the Illinois Bell Telephone Company with 37 years of service. She was a member of the Active Telephone Pioneers. Adele was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and a former member of St. Thomas More Church, where she was active after her retirement for 10 years in Pastoral Care, Eucharistic Ministry and as a Greeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Maria Goretti Church in her memory would be appreciated.
