Aggie Rose (Zmija) Zatorski, 86 of Dyer, IN. formerly of Munster, IN., passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She is survived by her daughters, Kelli Kovak (Jeff Beck) and Karen (Michael) Bukowski; son, Kevin Zatorski; grandchildren Andjalina Obradovic , Krystyna Zatorski, Julijana (Cody) Wellman, Evan Bukowski, Ethan Bukowski and Joshua Zatorski) and  great grandchildren Madelyn, Kylie, Cole and Tessa Wellman; sisters, Joanne (late Phil) Orr, Mary Jo (Mike) Saksa, and Carol (Jerry) Bazarko; brother-in-law, Dave Shimala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; son, Christopher (Carpetman); sister, Deanna Shimala and parents Mary and Jozef Zmija.

Aggie began her career at the Standard Oil Company in Chicago and attended Indiana University. A devoted and involved mother, she supported every aspect of her children’s lives—cheering them on at sporting events, serving as a Girl Scout Leader, and volunteering as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church and a former member of the St. Thomas More Altar & Rosary Society. She later worked for many years in the cafeteria at Wilbur Wright Middle School, where she was beloved by students and staff.

Known for her boundless kindness and open heart, Aggie never met a stranger. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. To many, she was a mother and grandmother not only in name but in spirit. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 1:00-5:00 pm with a Funeral service at 5:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN 46321. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Share Foundation (www.sharefoundation.org) or Hospice of the Calumet Area (www.hospicecalumet.org) in her memory would be appreciated.
