Alex E. Musial, 85, of Crete, IL born July 2, 1931 entered into Eternal glory on Saturday, December 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving daughters, Julie (Richard) Wories, Susan (David) Gorcowski and Deborah (Keith) Hagan; grandchildren, Sheri (Billy) Beene, Lisa (Andy) Akre, Joel (Kayla) Wories, Amy (Manuel) Santos, Nicholas Gorcowski, Amanda (Dan) Rudd and Christopher Hagan; great grandchildren, Abigail, Elizabeth and Mikayla Akre, Ainsley, Halle and Finley Wories, Eliana and Tessa Rudd and Aiyden Hagan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Musial (nee Crawford); son, Michael Lee (Nancy) Musial; grandson, Michael Neil Wories and parents, Walter and Julia Musial. Alex proudly served with the U.S. Marines and retired from Commonwealth Edison. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alex’s name to Hospice of the Calumet Area. A Memorial service will be held a later date.
