Alice Irene Arney, 92, of Munster, IN formerly of Calumet City, IL passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Frank) Patton and Janice (Craig) Popp; son, Kenneth Arney; grandchildren, Keri (Michael) Gaul, Kyle (Kirsten) Arney, Laura (Ted) Key, Becky (Tim) Morrison, Sarah (Ben) Brandow, Jason Popp, Amanda (Jason) Friedichs and Alyson (Elijah) Hurt; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen (late Arthur) Lorenz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell F. Arney and sister, Jeanette Moynahan.Visitation will be on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. Funeral service will be on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7227 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN.Alice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid Society. She was the manager of the Red Robin Store in Hammond, IN for 28 years and was a member of TOPS. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.
