Alma Plasencia, 88, of St. John, IN passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jesus Plasencia; son, Jesse (Andrea) Plasencia Jr.; grandchildren, Alec Plasencia and Alexis Plasencia (Armondo); great grandsons, Sabastion and Nolan; brothers, James Gomez and Jesse Villarreal; sister, Anita Carroll; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Plasencia; sisters, Gloria Barrera and Irene Arceo.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 am with a Memorial service at 11:00 am at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Echo Hospice for the wonderful care they gave.
