Angelo Thomas Coulis of Highland, IN passed away suddenly Friday, February 2, 2024.

He is survived by his brother; Paul T. (Rebecca) Coulis, sisters; Eve (Marc) Alters, Angela Pappas; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas P. Coulis and Lola Coulis.

Angelo was born to Thomas and Lola Coulis in Hammond, IN June 15, 1957. He graduated Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Business. He was active in transportation and Co-Owner of Hammond Yellow Cab for over 25 years and retired as President of Checker Cab Co.

He was a proud member of St. Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church in Hammond, IN. In his free time, he enjoyed boating, traveling, and time with family and friends.

Angelo will be deeply missed but never forgotten by friends and family alike.

​Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00-8:00pm with Trisagion service at 6:00pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN.  Funeral will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave, Hammond, IN.  Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN
