Bill, Laurie, Bob, and families, you don't need me to tell you how special Auntie Ann was. After all, you knew her best. I'm sure you'll agree that she was a remarkable person, though. I am so grateful to have had her in my life. As I reflect back on my childhood, it's obvious that Auntie Ann played an important role in my life. I have wonderful memories of our families being together so many times on Christmas Eve, at your house, as we kids eagerly awaited our annual Mc Donald's coupons and books of Life Savers. Her baked treats were legendary. I still talk about her apple pie to this day as being the best I ever had. She was tough at times, but had a soft heart. That was obvious by the way she took care of Nana and Papa during their elderly years. I loved her sense of humor, her laugh, her smile. I loved her. I'm really going to miss her, but only for a while. I truly believe she's reunited with Uncle Bill, Nana, Papa, my mom, and the rest of the Zappa clan and that we will see them again, for that's the hope we have in Christ! I have been praying diligently for you all this past week and will continue to do so as you deal with grief and loss. I love you guys!

Anna was our neighbor, our dear Aunt’s best friend, and a smiling face at Boy Scout events. She made us feel like family. Our lives are richer for having known her. Both she & Bill showed their love of Christ through their marriage. Anna is resting in Heaven. Until we meet again, Love, Christine, Mike, Mark & Stephanie Kristl

Auntie Ann was my strength in the most difficult time of my life, when I lost my mom, her beloved sister. When I felt I couldn’t stand any longer, in her own weakness and grief, she held me up. She was my rock, she gave me hope. Auntie Ann was my scholar I turned to whenever I needed advice. Whether big or small, to me, she knew it all. And her laugh…it was contagious. She loved my husband and my kids and couldn’t wait to hear what was new in their lives and their achievements, for that I am forever grateful. She was a helper to anyone in need, she was always there. To know her was to love her. She was gold. Auntie Ann was my aunt yes, but she was also my friend. I thank God for every moment and every memory that he gave me with her. I will miss her every day of my life. Someday, I will rejoice with her again though, in all eternity. And I cant wait to see the crown of jewels Christ has given to this amazing angel. Every jewel is well deserved.
