Anna Mendel, 92, of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andor Mendel. She is survived by her nephew, Lester Weiss; niece, Alice Masof; great niece and gret nephews, Debbie (David) Miller, Barry Weiss and Richard (Debbie) Yonover; great grand nieces and great grand nephews, Tracy (Bob) Ciccone, Kim (Greg) Mattei, Lenny Weiss, Lindsay Weiss, Michael (Marissa) Yonover and Lisa (Yonatan) Yussman. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Kneseth Israel Cemetery, Hammond, IN with Rabbi Ben Kramer officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Jewish Federation of Northwest Indian or Congregation Beth Israel in her memory would be appreciated.
