Anne J. Machura, Age 97, of Munster, IN, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Born in Chicago, IL to Frank and Josephine Machura, she was one of eight children. As an adolescent, she became an adoptive member of the Thomas and Stella Gozdecki family of East Chicago, IN, with whom she spent her life until their passing. She then lived with the late Marcella Paluch of Munster for many years. She was a retired employee of American Savings FSB, Munster office. Anne was predeceased by her siblings and by Loretta Gozdecki Ladd and Joseph Ladd, of Highland. Survived by her adoptive family of Edward and Rae Jeanne Gozdecki of Highland, Thomas and Carolyn Gozdecki of Michigan City and Bernadette Gozdecki Molaschi and Henry Molaschi of San Angelo, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews of the Machura and Gozdecki families. Visitation Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM and Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8500 Calumet Avenue, Munster on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
