Helene, Chris, and Shelly, I can’t express enough how deeply saddened I am about Annette’s death. We’ve shared so much through the years and I’m here now sharing the weight of your loss. We have been friends for 65 years, but we’re more than friends, we’re family. I have so many fond memories from our childhood and as we grew into adulthood, our bond was, is, and always will be strong. All of you are surrounded by much love with family and friends, not just now but always. To Annette, there are no goodbyes for us, you will always be in my heart. Love always, Lisa (John and Gretchen, too)

Annette was always so positive and a joy to be around. I enjoyed working with her when she served on the board of Lake Shore Community Concerts. I first met her when she was a counselor at Wilbur Wright Middle School. She made such an impact on the lives of students, including my son. She will be missed… Nancy Konopasek

Miss Wiz was the best trig teacher one could imagine. I took her class in summer school...because I was bored! Got every question right including the extra credit. She once wrote on my test, "Do you have any questions??!!" in her usual sarcastic way. "Yes," I said, "what are we doing? When will I ever use a cosign or tangent?" and she just laughed at me. Well, here it is, 47 years later and I've never used a trigonomic function in my life but I've also never forgotten her. Happy memories, Miss Wiz.

Miss Wisniewski was my Algebra teacher and counselor at Munster High School. She was a great teacher and a friendly and compassionate human being. In my view, she deserves to be in the MHS Faculty Hall of Fame.
