Arlene Sutkowski, 73 of Hammond, IN passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy at her home with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank; sons: David, Timothy and Scott Sutkowski; daughter: Karen (Bruce) Bielat; brother: Patrick Bieszat; preceded in death by her parents: Bert and Emily Bieszat. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. John Bosco Church, Hammond, IN with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Arlene was a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of St. John Bosco Church for 50 years. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Cure PSP at www.psp.org in her memory would be appreciated.
