Barbara J. Hildebrand, age 85 of Schererville, IN passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Laura (David) Schetter; son, Mark (Sara) Hildebrand; grandchildren, Ashleigh Schetter and Hannah & Adam Myers. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered privately followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandma who enjoyed spending time with family at BBQ’s and Holiday’s. She was an avid sports fan, a master of jig saw puzzles and crocheting & sewing. Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to Humane Indiana (formerly the Humane Society).
