Barbara J. Mirkiewicz, 71, of Crete, IL passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009. Beloved sister of Sandra (late William) Wozniak, Ronald “Butch” (late Janice) Mirkiewicz and Timothy (Bonnie) Mirkiewicz; proud aunt of Lynette (Jeff) Paliga, Beth (Nick) Pezzuto and Brittany Mirkiewicz; cherished great aunt of Joey, Sam, Danny and Gianna Paliga; Our family sympathy to Jim, who was a significant part of her life in all ways; preceded in death by her parents: Helen and Xavier Mirkiewicz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM from St. Andrew Church, Calumet City, IL. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery; Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00-9:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Barbara was a wonderful caregiver.
