Doctor Barrett Henry Heise passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1930 in Michigan City, IN. Barry was preceded in death by his parents Edward John Scott and Wamita Beatrice Seights Heise; brother Robert Edward; son Barrett Douglas. He is survived by his special friend, Helen Delnicki and brother, John Scott Heise of Las Vegas, NV.
Barrett earned a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering in 1960 from Purdue University and served in the U.S. Navy. A true Renaissance man, Barry built sailboats, piloted airplanes, and was an avid reader. He retired from the Union Carbide in 1991. After a private service, Barrett will be interred in New York.
