Betty Gail Young, 62, of Griffith, IN passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. She is survived by her lifelong companion, Matt Lesniewski; children, Kim (Arthur) Perez, Sherri (Andrew) Reynolds, Tonya (Daniel) Winebrenner, Catherine (Graham) Mallernee and Bradley Lesniewski; grandchildren, Matthew, Tony, Devyn, Kendall, AJ, Andy, Lia, Kyle, Jacob, Violet, Peyton and Chloe; mother, Rose Tarpley; brother, Charlie (Karen) Tarpley; nephew, Allen and niece, Tanya; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and pets. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Tarpley. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
