Betty Soy, 85 of Dyer, IN formerly of Chicago, IL passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012. Beloved mother of Sandy (Jack) McNeal and Kandi (Denny) Hyman; loving grandmother of Tim and Jason McNeal, Kassy (Scott) Golden and Diandra (John) Asbaty; cherished great grandmother of Blaize, Maxx, Lily, Khyler and Madden; preceded in death by her loving husband, Ervin Soy. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Friday at 9:15 AM at the funeral home with a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Maria Goretti Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Betty retired from the Chicago Board of Education. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and SPARCS. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
