Binjamin is preceded in death by his parents Odisho Kourkis Younathim and Maryam Namat Khayou and brother Ishmael [Mary Shamoon]
Binjamin worked for the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation Department for 17 years where he was noted for his consistent and diligent work. Devoutly faithful in daily prayer and reading the Bible; exemplifying God’s teaching by his generosity, kindness, and humbleness. He also enjoyed socializing at the local coffee shop where he played dominos, backgammon, and cards. When not at home in Chicago, he could be found in Dyer, Indiana spending time with family and doting upon his four grand-daughters.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 12 p.m. at St. Maria Goretti Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Visitation will follow after mass at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN. 46321 from 2-6pm.
