Bonnie J. Crotty, 75, of Munster, IN. passed away on Sunday November 30, 2008 after a long illness. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Helen Harkins; loving mother of Jack (Lynn) Crotty and Jim (Songla) Crotty; cherished grandmother of Jean, Andy, Shane, Christopher, Sean and Josh; fond great grandmother of Noah Crotty; dear friend of Mary Crotty; special aunt of Wendy, Lynn, Bonnie and numerous Harkins nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be on Thursday December 4, 2008 at 9:45 AM from Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. with a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 PM. Bonnie was raised in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, relocated to Las Vegas until recently returning to the Chicago area. She attended St. Brides Grammar School and Loretta High School; retired from the U.S. Steel South Works and the Las Vegas Hilton after ten years of service. Memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House in her memory would be appreciated.
