Carol A. Condes, 49 of Dyer, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She is survived by her husband James, who have been together for 28 years; son: Christopher James Condes; daughter: Katherine Lorena Condes; sister: Linda (Debbie Arvio) Lucas; aunts: Shirley Nielson and Mary Worthington; sister in law: Lori (George) Paulauski; father in law: Chris Condes; nieces and nephews: Sarah (Katherine Farber) Lucas, Julie, Christy, Matthew, David and Daniel Paulauski; preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Katherine Sutkowski, mother in law Lorena Condes. \tA Celebration of Carol’s life will be on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:30-11:00 AM. Carol was a pilot for American Airlines since 1987. She was a member and active supporter of the Allied Pilot’s Association; graduate of Hammond High School and Indiana State University. Carol was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being involved with her children’s activities growing up. In lieu of flowers, we have set up a memorial fund to support lymphoma research in Carol Condes’ memory. Please make checks payable to The University of Chicago, Medical Center Development, Attention Amanda Nunnink, 1170 E. 58th Street, Chicago, IL 60637. Contributions to The University of Chicago Lymphoma Program in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
