Carol D. Spisak

Carol D. Spisak, 69 of Hammond, IN lost her 16 year battle with cancer on March 25, 2011 with her husband and sister by her side. Carol is survived by her husband Michael; son, Todd Harms; step daughters, Roseann (Mike) Spisak-Dowden and Judy (Sam) Rossi; grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda and Joshua Denton, Teresa (Kellen) Murphy and Matthew Dowden; great grandchildren, Alanah and Donovan; one and only sister, Pam (Andy) Mosele; sisters in law, Margaret Spisak and Mary (Donald) Davison; loving nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Vivian Buckner. Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM directly at St. John Bosco Church, 7113 Columbia Ave. Hammond, IN with Fr. Richard Orlinski officiating. Interment will be at Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery, Dolton, IL. Carol was a graduate of TF North High School. She was an avid Bingo player as was her mother. She loved to play cards, travel and always loved a party. She was a true fighter until the end. Family and friends will miss her dearly.
