Carol J. Wooge passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026. She is survived by her children, Michael Bennett of Highland, IN, Gary (Claudia) Wooge of St. John, IN and Marlo (Brett) Burbage of Schererville, IN; grandchildren, Robert and Joshua; sister, Susan (John) Wolk of Menasha, WI. Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Schlink and brother, Richard Schlink.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN with Pastor Allan Frey officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service.

Carol enjoyed spending time in her garden, working on jigsaw puzzles, reading several books and playing Yahtzee with her family. She loved to spend quality time with her precious grandsons. She proudly worked at the American Bar Association for 37 years before retiring in 2004. Carol will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
