Catherine M. Rodda, 99, of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Carole (Kent) Evans and Jane (Thomas) Thiel; grandchildren, Lisa, Traci, Eric, Jennifer and Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Zach, Dagny, Samantha, Izabel, Ethan, Chase, Hunter, Adelaide and Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Elizabeth Hofer; sisters, Doris Stein and Marie Thomas; husband, Vernon Rodda. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am at the South Side Christian Church, 1000 Broadmor Ave. Munster, IN. with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Private interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN at a later date. She was a bookkeeper for several companies in the Chicago area. Her favorite pasttime was being with her family. Catherine was a very active member of the South Side Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, Contributions to the South Side Christian Church in her memory would be appreciated.
