Catherine T. Dixon

Catherine T. Dixon, nee Cleary, 90, of Highland and Munster, Indiana, died peacefully in her home on February 24, 2014. Devoted wife of the late Edward A., loving daughter of the late Malachy and Frances Cleary; beloved mother of Frances (Barry) Bridgeford, Mary (Philip Milsk) Dixon, Joseph (Sophie), Malachy (Jean), and Robert (Kimberley). Dear sister of the late James (the late Rosemary) Cleary, late Malachy (the late Mary) Cleary, the late Mary Cleary, and Patrick J. “John” (Kathleen) Cleary; cherished grandmother of Mary, David, James, Robert, and Thomas Dixon, Nikolai Fissenko , and Andrew and Steven Milsk. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, loving cousin to the Hester family and loyal friend to many. Family and friends will gather Saturday, March 1, at 10:00 am for a visitation with the family preceding an 11:00 am funeral mass at Saint Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr., Dyer, Indiana. A luncheon will follow mass at the Church Banquet Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Public Action to Deliver Shelter (PADS).
