Cecile Cwiok, age 84, of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015, in a group assisted living home in Phoenix AZ where she briefly joined living with her sister-in-law, Anne Wegrzyn. Cecile Cwiok, age 84, of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015, in a group assisted living home in Phoenix AZ where she briefly joined living with her sister-in-law, Anne Wegrzyn. She is survived by her children sons: Jeff Cwiok and Kevin (Catherine) Cwiok; daughter, Michele (William) Salanty; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M Cwiok; her brothers: Walter Wegrzyn and Edward Wegrzyn and her sister Marie Wegrzyn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2015 DIRECTLY at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church Chapel, Munster, IN. Interment will DIRECTLY follow the mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, IL with a lunch following in Highland, IN. Ceil was a homemaker and met her husband at Rand McNally where they both worked. She enjoyed dancing, reading, cross stitching, volunteering, traveling and boating. She was a big Notre Dame Football fan. Cecile was a loving wife and mother who will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Share Foundation or for Mass's in her memory would be appreciated.
