Cecilia C. Laskowski of Merrillville, IN passed away July 27, 2012.She was born in Gary, IN. August 7, 1921. The daughter of Paul and Mary (Mucha) Kwolek. She was married to the late Matthew Laskowski who preceded her in February10, 2003. She is survived by her son Theo. Paul(Nora)Woloszyn of South Carolina, three daughters Judy Stone of Schererville, Theresa (John)Lewandowski of Ohio and Christine(Kenneth) Bynum of Dyer. Seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Sister Jean(late Steve) Bilunas. She is preceded in death by her grandson Tom Lewandowski, brother Joseph Kwolek, sister Helen Tropilo and niece Gloria Kwolek. Many surviving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visistation will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. At the Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave, Munster IN. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Cecilia retired from River Oaks Sears and worked in the Coat Dept. She also worked for the Hammond Phone Co. Cecilia was a parishioner of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Calumet City IL. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
