July 11, 1923 - February 23, 2014

Charles A. Chipules, 90 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Gerald) Boberek and Roseann (Gene) Kazmierczak; sons, Joseph Chipules and Paul (Stella) Chipules; 5 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Entombment will be at Holy Cross cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Charles retired from Republic Steel with over 30 years of service. He served with the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
