I'm so thankful for the special bond that I had with my gramps and there will always be a spot in my heart that is empty with him no longer here. I already miss the sound of his voice and I'm reflecting on all of the times we sat and talked for hours at the lake in his garage or in his living room. No matter where I was with my grandpa my heart was full. While I may look back in sadness I also reflect on all of the great memories we have had together over the years which I will cherish forever. I inherited his love of the lake and every time I look out my window I will think of him knowing how blessed I am each and every day for all that he was and all that he taught me. Love you lots Gramps and I hope you are up there having an Old Style!
