Charles F. Greskovich, 92 of Munster, IN born in Zborova, Czechoslovakia, formerly a longtime resident of Whiting, IN passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Beloved husband for 71 years of Ann Greskovich; Loving father of Charles (Pat) Greskovich, Thomas (Judy) Greskovich, James Greskovich and Susan (Dan) Joines; cherished grandfather of Charles, Thomas, Janine, James Greskovich and Jennifer Joines; fond brother of Marge (late Andrew) Lucas, Marion (late Al) Bugajski and Ann (Anthony) Simchak; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 30. 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Charles retired from Amoco Oil after 41 years of service and was the Environmental Chairman for the Lake County Fish & Game. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and Slovak Sokol Lodge 369. He was a graduate of Whiting High School class of 1939, served with the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and was Past Commander of the American Legion Post 80 in Whiting, IN who will post colors on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Maria Goretti Church in his memory would be appreciated.
