Charles L. Baker, 43 of Lafayette, IN formerly of the Calumet Area, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Wendy (Bill) Baker-Kinkade; good friends, Roberta and Jorge; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; loyal companions, Snickerjack, Tigger and Malikia; preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sue and Mike Budnyk. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN with a Memorial Service at 8:00 PM Charles loved to work with animals and excelled at art and art history. He enjoyed, hiking, fishing, camping and was an avid chess player. He attended Highland High School and Indiana State University.
