Charlotte DeGroate, 79 of Lansing, IL passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. Loving mother of Linda De Groate, Marie (Steven) West, William (Susan) DeGroate Jr, Cynthia DeGroate Skellion, Timothy (Karen) De Groate; cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 9; fond sister of Josephine Solomon and Ronald Stepek; Many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband: William Sr, parents: John and Josephine Stepek; sister: Florence Stolarz; brothers: Eugene and John Stepek. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. Charlotte was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
