Christine Mistarz (Shupe)(nee Waznonis), 63 of Lansing, IL passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Mistarz Jr; children, Tina (Dennis) Certa, Jason Shupe, Lorrie Shupe, Dee Dee Shupe, Jan (Travis) Trainor, Jon Shupe and Cilla Shupe; 10 grandchildren; brother, Anthony (Kim) Waznonis; Aunt, LaVerne (late John) Skarupa; preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Lorraine Waznonis. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Christine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
