Christine Prendergast, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of September 29, 2020. She was born on May 14,1972 in Palos Heights, Illinois. Christine, or affectionately known as “Chris”, “Chrissy”, or just “Mom”; enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones as much as possible. In her free time you could find her binge watching the Harry Potter series or Little House on the Prairie. She also enjoyed gardening, going to the beach, and traveling with her husband, Patrick. Christine was educated at Rich East High School in Park Forest, Illinois and later Eastern Illinois University along with Governors State University. She worked at Finley Fine Jewelry and later at Chicago Wicker. Christine will be fondly remembered for being a caring, understanding, and loving woman who never put her own needs or wants before others’. She was the most generous and kind person that one could meet, and that could be felt the second anyone met her. She was always one to start a conversation and make new friends anywhere she went, help people around the neighborhood that she had never met before, and volunteer a helping hand to family and friends. She is the adored wife to Patrick Prendergast of Lansing, IL. Caring and loving mother to Matthew LeBran of Lansing, IL. Beloved daughter of John and Marcia Pacholik of Park Forest, IL. Devoted sister to Lori and William Cuthbertson of  Peotone, IL. Loving Aunt to Noah, Kate, and Jon Cuthbertson of Peotone, IL; Jack Marcos of Munster, IN; Erin and Scott Lyons of Munster, IN.
