Christopher A. Badten 58, of Dyer, IN. He was taken from our lives too soon on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He is survived by his High School Sweetheart Cindy Divine Gill, and family Brooklyn (Joshua) Lemler, Kevin Badten (Caitlin), Richard Gill (fianc√© Megan), Krystle Gill, PaPa's special girl Hazellyn, Madisyn and his pool partner Mike Masick, \”The Old Man.\” He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mary Badten. Chris was a 1975 graduate of Lake Central High School and was a longtime member of the Southlake County Agricultural Historical Society. Every third Wednesday of the month Chris would meet his fellow engine club members for chicken at Great Oaks Banquet in Cedar Lake. In his free time Chris would surprise Cindy with spur of the moment road trips. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. Rest in peace Babe, Always and Forever, Cindy. Visitation with be on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN.
