Cirilo T. Farinas, M.D. 81 of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosita Farinas; sons, Michael (Kathleen), Edgardo (Kaori) and Mark (Milena) Farinas; sister, Teresa Farinas; brothers, Guillermo, Nicomedez and Marciano Farinas; mother in law, Consuelo C. Tabion; brother in law, Deacon Napoleon (Lynn) Tabion; numerous nephews and nieces; preceded in death by his parents, Ugalino and Augustina Farinas; sister, Rosario Farinas. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a prayer service at 4:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN with Fr. Rick Holy officiating. Cremation to follow service; Interment will be private. Cirilo was a Board Certified Pathologist and a member of the College of American Pathologist. He practiced at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital for over 35 years and was a member of St. Thomas More Church; In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Thomas More Church in his memory would be appreciated.
