Clara “Polly” Wasko

Clara “Polly” Wasko, 83 of Highland, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold; son, Bruce (Donna) Wasko; daughter, Linda (George) Kallechey; grandchildren, Guy (Rebecca) Wasko, Brett (Crystal) Wasko, Chris (Caroline) Wasko, Eric (Laura) Wasko, Mycena Kallechey and Benjamin (Leigh) Kallechey; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Phyllis) Hayes and Frank (Lynette) Hayes; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 10:00-11:00 Am at the church. Funeral service will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 8601 Harrison Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Polly was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church and an active member of the Ladies Aid. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated. Polly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by everyone who knew her.
