Dale F. Gornick, 67, of Griffith, IN passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010. He is survived by his daughters, Dori (Tony) Volturo and Kimberley(James) Hoogeveen; grandchildren, Joshua, Adriel and Sophia; sister, Patricia McLaughlin; brothers, John Hovance and Joseph Gornick; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Dale retired from the I.C.G. Railroad. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Community Outreach Program at St. Maria Goretti Church in his memory would be appreciated.
