Dan Kujovich, 52 of West Linn OR formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained from multiple heart attacks. He was born in South Holland, IL, the youngest son of Ray and Rose Kujovich. Dan was loved by everyone he came in contact with. He was good to his core. He valued his family above all else and approached each day with compassion, zest and an eagerness to learn. Dan was a dreamer – all who knew him remember the endless crazy, sometimes brilliant ideas his creative mind generated. He had a thirst for knowledge and never stopped learning. In his retirement he attended Purdue Calumet simply for the enjoyment of continuing his education. As a husband, father, son, uncle etc. there was no better. Dan not only dreamed himself, he dreamed for all those he loved and did whatever he could to help his family and friends achieve those dreams. In the year before his death he brought his dreams and his family to Oregon. His days were filled with farming, planting, and dreaming of all the things he and his wife could accomplish in their new home. He got to watch his fiercely intelligent daughter thrive in music, education, and her love of animals grow through her learning to ride horses. From a distance he sent love and support to his son while he attended Purdue, Dan’s own alma mater. His wife and him were a team. They dreamed together and they made their dreams a reality together. Dan’s friends and family will miss him every single day. However, Dan will never be gone, as he will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Dan is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Niko and daughter, Natasha Kujovich; parents, Ray and Rose Kujovich of Schererville, IN. and brother, Kurt Kujovich of Vancouver, WA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 3:00-8:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
