Daniel Funduk, age 52, passed away June 12, 2013. He was the only son of Milosh and Mildred Funduk(both deceased). Close to his heart in life was Cheryl Leon-Roche, of Chesterton, IN. Daniel's surviving family includes aunt, Daisy Bozickovich; cousins: Milan (Rose) Bozickovich, Eli Bozickovich, Danielle (Dan Trampel) Serdar, Dan (Cindy) Serdar, and Dawn (Bob) Mastrodonato. Dan was a member of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 11, a former member of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 26 and the former owner/operator of Superior Roofing & Construction (St. John, IN). He was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. Daniel also was a friend of Bill W. Visitation Friday, June 14, 2013 from 3:00-8:30 PM with a Pomen Service at 7:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN (next to Fitness Pointe). Funeral services Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 E. 186th Street, Lansing, IL. Dan will lie in state at church from 9:30 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM with the Very Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin officiating. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN immediately follows.
