Darin E. Surma, 56, of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Gussie; daughter, Kelsey Surma; sons, Lance Surma, Alex Surma and George (Paige) Vauter; grandsons, Chase Surma and Lucas Vauter; faithful and devoted Dobermans, Ivy and Bane. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Surma and Helen Caponegri. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 3:00 -8:00 pm at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Darin was a loving husband and father. He was a great friend to all who knew and loved him.
