July 6, 1963 - August 26, 2013

David A. Leask, 50 of Munster, IN passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Leask; sisters, Patti (Paul) Jeffreys of Peoria, IL, Barbara (Jim) Waters of Adrian, MI and Judi (David) Pikula of Naperville, IL; brother, Tom Leask of Highland, IN; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his father, Theodore Leask. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and visitation on Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment will be private. David loved to hunt, fish, hang out with friends and cook. He was an avid reader, graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management and a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians. Donations to the Highland Nursing Home, 9630 5th St. Highland, IN 46322 in his memory would be appreciated.
