David Anthony Teller

David Anthony Teller, 73 of Munster, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (nee Horgan); sons: Roger (Heather) and Joseph (Mary) Teller; daughter: Jennifer (Norman) Puente; loving grandfather to Samantha Puente, Jack, Lucy, Clara, Macie, Callie and Lindsey Teller; brothers: Roger and Richard (Carol) Teller; preceded in death by his parents, Carlisle and Edna Teller. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at St. Thomas More chapel on the south side of the church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 PM in the main church. Fr. Michael Yadron officiating; Dave was a longtime, active member of St. Thomas More Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, choir member, chairman on the festival committee and coached boy’s basketball. He coached and was an umpire for many years with Munster Little League Baseball. Dave was an avid golfer, gardener and Chicago Bears fan. Dave was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati, received his Masters from Xavier University and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
