David Camareno, 71, of Munster, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Born on February 25, 1953, David was a cherished figure in his community and a dedicated HVAC instructor.
David graduated from Bogan High School and furthered his education at Triton College where he honored the skills that would define his professional path. In his career as an HVAC instructor, David was revered for his deep knowledge and commitment to teaching the next generation of technicians.
A quiet soul, David was deeply passionate about preserving traditional holiday meals, a tradition he cherished alongside his wife, Judy. Their home was often filled with the aroma of festive dishes that brought family and friends together. David’s generosity extended beyond his kitchen, as he was always thoughtful in remembering special occasions like birthdays and weddings.
David’s hobbies included exploring new cuisines, watching movies, reading various genres, gazing at the stars; while reflecting his lifelong interest in astronomy.
He is survived by his sister and brother; Rose Camareno and Raymond Camareno; Step Daughter, Lisa (Terry) Bostick. He embraced his step grandchildren and great grandchildren as his own. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife; Judith Camareno; parents, Rafael and Emelina (nee Valderrama) Camareno; brother, Ralph Camareno.
David’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, as he leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and a love for the simple joys of life.
