My grandfather will be missed. I have lots of found memories of him. I loved it when we would go to Chicago and get the hot dogs and he would say GOAT in a funny way. He would tease me and my sister about eating watermelon seeds all the time. He had us believe we would grow melons in our bellies, lol. He taught me how to make the best sausage gravy too. I always remember his dogs being so smart. I remember all the stories of sailing , Florida living and his adventure in Venezuela. Ill miss him dearly but will remember all the good times and the things he had taught me. We lost contact with him in 2015 and I am sad about that. I wish I had known sooner of his passing so I was able to say good bye and pay respects. I live only a few short hours away and was not given the opportunity to reconnect or come say good bye. I will never know why he choose to stay away from us but I know he is at peace now and hope his friends got what they wanted from him and was worth keeping him away from his family.
