David John Creviston, Sr., 77, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Munster, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane (nee Reed) Creviston; children, David John (Anna) Creviston, Jr., Tammy (Scott) Winterfeldt, Rhonda (Tony) Archer and Tracy Boehm; brother, Randy (Cindy) Creviston; sister, Penny Creviston; and grandchildren, David Cash, Michaeleen Creviston, Frank Austgen Knapik, Dana Winterfeldt, Jason Winterfeldt, Reena Evans, Kyle Evans, Haleigh Archer, Savanna Archer, Devin Boehm and Darci Boehm. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bernice Creviston; daughter, Meredith Creviston; brother, Billy Creviston; and sister, Leola Chambers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 8601 Harrison Ave. Munster, IN, with Pastor Peter Speckhard, officiating. Burial will follow, with Military Honors, at Memory Lane Memorial Park, Crown Point, IN. Visitations will be on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and on Monday, at the Church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. David was born in Hammond, IN and was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, IN, and a past member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Munster, IN. David was the owner of American Highway Carriers, former member of the Hammond Rotary Club and past president of the South Suburban Traffic Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation, www.nlmsf.org would be appreciated.
