Dennis F. Gronek, 74 of Munster, IN passed away suddenly while vacationing in Arizona on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Yolanda; daughters: Gail (Dr. Brian) Weismann and Karen (Paul) Szakacs; Much loved grandchildren: Emma, Tess and Will Weismann, Maggie and Ally Szakacs; several in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins; Preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Mary Gronek; brother: Bob Gronek. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Monday at 10:00 AM at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 2201 Azalea Dr. Highland, IN. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Dennis retired from Inland Steel after 32 years of service. He is loved and will be missed by many.
